This ceramic knob of Blue Pottery is from Jaipur. It is a 14th century art which got introduced during the Turkish conquests. It is made of ‘Dough’ for pottery which is prepared by mixing quartz stone powder, powdered glass, multani matti, borax gum and water. We have used the wheel turning technique and further our design sketch is translated into a sticker transfer technique before the glaze (artist's Inspiration is from the basic instrument COMPASS). The mounting of this knob are given with the hardware (screw, nut and end cap).
